What do I need to complete to obtain a high school diploma?

All students need to complete 220 credits:

1 year = 10 credits

3 units at Community College = 10 High School Credits (1 Credit =3.3 high school credits)

40 Credits of English

20 credits of Math (Must include Algebra 1 and Geometry or Practical Geometry.

30 Credits of Science (Must include 1 Life AND 1 Physical)

30 Credits of History (World History, US History, Government and Economics)

20 Credits of PE or ROTC (4 years of Band can meet this requirement)

10 Credits of EITHER a Foreign Language or a Performing Art.

70 Credits of Electives

Passing of the California High School Exit Exam
